Retention Support to Syrian Refugees

I am a firm believer in the fundamental right of refugees to access education, and I am thankful for the opportunity to volunteer with Caritas, funded by the UNHCR, to support Syrian refugees in attaining this basic right. Volunteering as a retention support, specifically as a chemistry teacher, not only brings me personal satisfaction but also allows me to make a positive impact by sharing my knowledge and expertise. Observing the growth and learning journey of my students is incredibly fulfilling, and being able to contribute to their personal and academic development brings me immense joy.

Lebanese Civil Defense

I find volunteering part-time with civil defense captivating because it allows me to contribute meaningfully to my community's safety and well-being. In addition to assisting with office tasks and drafting fire reports, I obtained a certificate in first aid for burns to better aid burn patients in caring for their wounds. This certification has enhanced my understanding of emergency response protocols and equipped me with the skills needed to provide immediate assistance to burn victims. Knowing that my involvement could potentially improve fire prevention strategies and emergency readiness further motivates me to dedicate my time and skills to this crucial cause.

Wikipedia Editor

I enjoy volunteering as a Wikipedia editor because it allows me to contribute to the vast wealth of knowledge available online while also helping to ensure the accuracy and quality of information on various topics. As a Wikipedia editor, I have the opportunity to research and write about subjects that interest me, share my expertise on specific topics, and collaborate with other volunteers from around the world. Additionally, I find satisfaction in knowing that my contributions can help people access reliable information and learn about a wide range of subjects. Overall, volunteering as a Wikipedia editor aligns with my passion for learning, sharing knowledge, and making information accessible to others.
